About me

A few words about me

My name is Dr. n. med. Katarzyna Stańska-Kowalik and I am a doctor specializing in otorhinolaryngology. My professional and scientific path has focused mainly on rhinology and breathing disorders during sleep. Additionally, due to my hobby of diving, I am expanding my knowledge of laryngological disorders in divers and their effective methods of treatment.

I defended my doctoral thesis on the pathophysiology of chronic sinusitis with distinction in 2022 (Medical University of Warsaw).

Since 2017 I have been an active participant and speaker at national and international rhinology conferences.

Experience and specializations

I have improved my surgical and clinical experience not only in Poland but also abroad during numerous courses (Warsaw, Poznań, Graz, Nijmegen, Zurich, Dubai) and internships (England, Switzerland, USA).

I also completed an 8-month rhinology fellowship at UMC Amsterdam, where I improved my skills in working with patients in the clinic and my surgical skills (rhinoseptoplasty, paranasal sinus surgery) under the supervision of outstanding specialists.

In my daily work I consult both children and adults. I deal with diagnostics and conservative treatment of otorhinolaryngological diseases and also consult divers. I perform operations in the field of nose and paranasal sinus surgery, plastic surgery of the middle throat/palate (snoring), adenoidectomy, tonsillotomy, ear drainage.

My goal is not only effective treatment, but also to provide patients with complete comfort and a sense of security. I believe that a good doctor is not only a specialist in his field, but also a person who can listen and understand the needs of the patient.

Every day I work to ensure that diagnostics and treatment are as precise as possible and tailored to individual cases. I use modern technologies, constantly expand my knowledge and skills by participating in international training and conferences. Thanks to this, I can offer my patients effective and safe methods of treatment.
