Otorhinolaryngology consultations and surgeries for children and adults

I also perform ENT procedures such as adenotomy (removal of the pharyngeal tonsil), tonsillotomy (partial removal of the palatine tonsils) and ear drainage.

My goal is not only to provide effective treatment, but also to make children and their parents feel safe and comfortable at every stage of treatment.

Frequently asked questions

When is it a good idea to see an ENT specialist?

It is a good idea to see an ENT specialist when chronic or recurrent problems with the nose, sinuses, throat, larynx or ears occur. Worrying symptoms include. Difficulty breathing through the nose, chronic runny nose, sinus pain, hoarseness, recurrent throat infections, hearing problems or a feeling of blocked ears. Consultation is also advisable for snoring, sleep apnea and frequent sinus-related headaches.

Before your visit, it is a good idea to prepare a list of the ailments you are experiencing, their frequency and duration. If there have been previous tests (e.g., sinus CT scan, audiometry), it is a good idea to bring them to the appointment. If you are taking medications on a regular basis, inform your doctor. On the day of the test, it is a good idea to avoid using nasal medications that can temporarily alter nasal patency.

Depending on the symptoms, the doctor may perform various tests, such as rhinoscopy (evaluation of the nasal cavity), endoscopy of the nose and sinuses, otoscopic examination of the ears, evaluation of the larynx and hearing test. If necessary, he may recommend additional imaging tests, such as a CT scan of the sinuses, or functional tests, such as polysomnography for breathing problems during sleep.

No, the visit does not require a referral. You can make a direct appointment for a consultation at your convenience, without unnecessary paperwork.
